Welcome to the future home of Deception Anglers. We are a walk/wade guide service based in Willow, AK. We are certified to guide on all waters in Alaska, including the Kenai River.

Chris Doremus is the Owner/Guide of Deception Anglers. To date, Chris has graduated from: Montana Fly Fishing Guide School, Sweetwater Basic and Advanced Guide Schools, Kenai River Guide Academy and Colorado Outdoor Adventure Guide School's Professional Fly Fishing Guide School. A love for the outdoors, conservation for the next generation to enjoy the wilderness and a desire to serve other veterans and first responders drives his joy in guiding.
